Skald: Odyssey — Product Updates Privacy Notice
The short version
The Skald: Odyssey product-updates list is optional and separate from the Skald app. If you join, MannaMila LLC uses your response only to send occasional product and platform-availability news. We do not sell the list, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Launch-list transition
On July 22, 2026, the Skald launch and availability list became the product-updates list. Existing subscribers continue to receive the same categories of email they originally requested: platform availability and major product news. No new category of email was added.
What we collect
The signup form asks for:
- Your email address.
- The platforms you use: Android, iPhone, and/or iPad.
- Your country or region: United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or somewhere else.
- The date and time that Google Forms records for your response.
We do not ask for your name, age, reading habits, free-form comments, or information about children.
How we use the information
We use the response only for meaningful Skald product updates and platform-availability news. We do not send general updates more than once per calendar month.
Who processes the information
MannaMila LLC controls the list. Google Forms and Google Sheets process and store responses on our behalf under Google's Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab). We do not sell, rent, or use product-updates data for advertising.
Retention
For responses submitted on or after July 22, 2026, we delete your product-updates response 24 months after you sign up unless you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it sooner.
Responses submitted before July 22, 2026 keep the launch list’s original promise: we delete them at the earlier of 24 months after signup or 90 days after we notified you that your selected platform was available.
If you unsubscribe, we suppress further messages immediately and remove response data that is no longer needed within 30 days. We may retain the minimum information needed to honor the opt-out.
Your choices
Every update includes an unsubscribe method. You can also email privacy@mannamila.com to unsubscribe, request a copy of your response, correct it, or ask us to delete it. We process unsubscribe requests within five business days.
The app is separate
Joining the product-updates list does not create a Skald account and does not connect your email address to reading activity, analytics, diagnostics, or purchases in the Android, iPhone, or iPad app. For the app's practices, read the separate Skald: Odyssey App Privacy Policy.
